2. Drew - don’t you think that if all the Govs of the border states simply put every single Nat Guard on the border with guns and ammo - even without shooting - it would deter 90% of what is going on right now.

   I’m sick and tired of everyone in positions to uphold the ‘laws of the land’ - being part and parcel of the problem.

   The Administration is a given - this is because Obama must go through his entire (p)Residency acting as if he is attempting a solution but mostly fundraising (see the Dem emails/letters fundraising over the ‘impending’ impeachment) - while an occasional low-level bureaucrat does something ‘bone-headed’ and of course it is all behind the scenes nudging, step-by-step to shred the Constitution and fundamentally change America.

   I get the media (now 6 corporations control 90% of the media) - being down for this liberal, nanny state agenda. What I don’t get is how so many else (Govs, State, Local, GOP (ok, a given - looking at their spineless, gutless leaders), and America people are just acting like there is nothing to be done, no laws, no recourse.

   56 men put their lives and fortunes on the line to create this great, free Nation. America does NOT have a history of being tyrannically controlled or of great/universal oppression. America, in this specific history is so vastly different from so many other countries of the World/history.

   I can’t believe that 51% of this Nation is so against what America is about - to continue to let this happen. Or worse, feel so powerless.

6. I have been watching developments in Gaza with increasing dismay.  Not because the Israeli Army is incapable of dealing with Hamas or their tactics, but because of the thinly veiled anti Semitism of Israel’s critics.  Liberals, the most racist group in a generation have decried that anti Semitism is ok as long as it’s demonstrated as being against Israeli atrocities.  Those atrocities are defined as anything Israel may do to defend itself.

   Until this can be reversed, Israel will ultimately be destroyed, not by Hamas, but by the anti Semites of the world who will piously say that Israel was a racist state, bent on committing the genocide of the Palestinians, and needed to be destroyed.  Not stated will be their underlying hatred of Jews and by extension, Israel.

   Next week I will have to work for a man who is already on record as saying that Israel’s security wall is a pure act of Apartheid and had nothing to do with saving Israeli lives.  It is a job I will find extremely distasteful.  I will write postings on whatever interesting excrement comes from his mouth on the subject of Israel.
