The same text is used in manual testers too. This one is given to the patient to read without glasses at a fixed distance. Looks to be from the same page in the same book. Chapter XX to be precise.
Interesting bit of trivia. I too was able to scrounge a lot of interesting books from my Mom’s things - she also had her parents and my Dad’s parents books - so lots and lots to go through - as they were both pre-tv couples.
I hate the eye doctor - down to twice a year from a high of 6 - glaucoma - did SLT surgery - which they want to do again - but alas - our insurance won’t cover it and with us unemployed - I don’t have the money.
We shall see how it goes in Oct since I finally got the new glasses mess figured out to see, if it has helped at all.
There are none so blind as those that will not see.
