Bravo Spooter, enjoy the COOL,,,,,,,,,,
Deoxit works wonders. I got a spray can a few years back. You would hook up the boat trailer after a year or two of sitting around and you were lucky if even one filament would glow at all. Spray both side’s with the deoxit, plug it in and out a few times and even the high current trailer brakes would work. They also have progold which is more of a protectant than a cleaner.
For frozen/rusted bolts fittings, brake drums/rotors I highly recommend PB Blaster. Nothing works better.
Looks like you got the AC fixed just in time for a little cool spell. Go figure.
Cool spell? Maybe. It’s hit the 90s several times already. Weather is very moody around here. And if nothing else, the AC dries the air out inside. NJ may not be the hottest state in the summer, but it’s always one of the moistest.
PB Blaster is a product I’ve never heard of. Another superb penetrating oil is called Kroil Oil, which has been around forever and a day. Works great, smells awful. TSI301 works as well as Kroil but smells lemony fresh. And “as well as Kroil” is high praise indeed. Kroil is king, better than WD-40, liquid wrench, etc. TSI301 is expensive. I use it mainly to clean gun bores, a task that Kroil also excels at. TSI also has rust preventatives in it, and some lubrication ability.
