Ballad of the Green Barets, by Barry Sadler. I am old, officially old.
Exacto. I did a pretty good mock on that one, dint eye?
We have that with not only the remaining few ‘outdoor’ cats but also opossum and of course our #1 wanted dead vermin - the ground hog - who is not only building a condo down under the shed - which is expanding into the pathway to get the mower out to mow (only way for the mower to go) but apparently has kicked out the snotty teenager who has taken up residence under the deck. I am happy though - the next door neighbor planted corn - they will all venture over there for meal time. And when monsoon season ends - I plan to spray the back down with everything I got to kill all the garbage that has overgrown.
The fruit trees seem to be a bust and we can’t (back h2o spigot is useless) water (nor can we afford to pay for extra water). And is probably is ok (if the two years of massive, continual rain - had not happened) for the plots to rest.
I’m having a tough enough time just getting the lawn mowed.
I love watching the wild life - I just wish that they’d not build in my yard. Make their homes in the great wilds - and then occasionally come for a visit.
Hubby wants to set out the traps - yeah, one more task for me to do. Until he gets back to helping out - not happening.
And a set back in the bath - we may get a wall up sometime this summer. But it all works and no leaks - so that part is fine. Just the damn tiles are not cooperating with getting the gunk off, washing up and then drying. Oh well.
Yep, good lyricisin’.
Well done Drew. And I can honestly say ... Barry wouldda been impressed.
