  1. Put me in front of a keyboard, show me the news, and it’s RCOB time. And then my sarcastic side gets in the way. I never take the time to turn the phrases fully, or to even think things through. It’s more of a shotgun blast reaction

Isn’t that so true - and then when I sit to write The Bookit is written to be palatable and sell able - and it sounds like drivel in a re-read and gets shredded which is why my husband is a published (we are still waiting for his copy) author of a piece before I am. Go figure.

There is no satisfaction in saying “I told you so”, even though I did, you did, and millions of others did, a year and a half ago

None at all - as I watch my beloved country become an Obamanation of what it used to be.

Victor David Hanson’s article was great - still haven’t read Noonan or Stein.

Even Ann Coulter - who ‘bashed’ ‘birthers’ - really bashed Dems and their ‘conspiracy’ theorists more (sort of a pot calling the kettle black, tee hee hee) article.

And speaking of that - I do have to commend everyone here for the brief forays into the Birth Certificate issue - as I’ve been asked to ‘shut up’ on that subject once again - on another site. Yes, chased there by my Mother Sheehan banishments and now, they too want silence on a particular topic. I simply apologized and said I would not post again. I really wanted to say - And so another Freedom in America is taken away for what reason - My opinion is my opinion - don’t read it, call me nuts - but please in America - Don’t ever tell me to shut up.

We have met the enemy and he is us.

    God Help America.

  2. I still think we are jumping a bit in calling Obama a dictator right now (remember the whole Clinton fiasco- the man was about everything under the sun but a dictator), but I still am not pleased by how things are moving.

Absolute Best Case Scenario: Obama is a pigheaded idiot who may eventually come to his senses.

Realistic Best Case Scenario: Obama is an arrogant, pigheaded idiot who is content to rule within the constitutional limits of his office, and who can occasionally be circumvented or convinced with great effort.

    Still, this far out…

  3. Turtler:  Given the break-neck speed they’ve been pushing bad legislation they’re not even fully reading… well, let’s just say I’m not currently looking at best-case solutions.

    Wardmama:

    > My opinion is my opinion - don’t read it, call me nuts - but please in America -
    > Don’t ever tell me to shut up.

What a wonderful way to put forth that concept.  It’s succinct, and anyone should be able to say, “Yeah!” to that, because it makes so much sense at every level.  Thank you.

  4. Obama and Pelosi feed off each other like the criminals they are. They are bound and determined to turn our great country into a fascist, socialistic country. God help us all.

  5. I guess we are all destined someday to meet in the high desert like the kids in Red Dawn.
