You’re right Z-man one incident is not the basis for condeming a religion.
How ever having spent most of my life in emergency medical services, law enforcement, counseling or crisis resoultion in an area with a sizeable Muslim population I have noticed that abuse of woman tend to be a problem in this group.
Yes, folks of all race, color, creed and economic class have this problem. However I wish I had a nickel for every time a Muslim uses his religion as an excuse for his conduct. I’ll give you a dime for every time any other locally represented religion use their religion as a justification. I’ll still come out ahead.

I had girlfriends in high school; who immediately after high school, were married - by parental arrangement. Can you even imagine? I know I can’t.

Let me get this straight: She is assaulted sexually, and she has to bear the stigma for life?
What about that donkey-f@rker that isn’t man enough to actually attract a woman? No stigma there?
The more I learn of Islam, the more I detest it and think that Western civilization needs to crusade against such idiocy. Indeed, the practise of Islam should be banned… no different from the ‘religion’ of Thuggee or the practise of suttee in India…

I spent many many months in several of the Muslim ditated countries, I agree with the assesment anyone that is a muslim is a liar, a rapist and a murderer. Never trust them they are taught it is ok to lie to a non believer to get what they want, never hire them, they will make YOUR company conform to THIER religion or else. And never ever shake hands with them..they do not use toilet paper they use the hand to “cleanup”. Nasty little buggers even believe it is ok to rape male kids to “Teach” them how to be a man.

The practices of the people of India are so antiquated and backward...........the women of the Middle East will never know freedom as we know it. Even here in the U.S. people of Muslim, Hindu, Pakastani descent still have their marriages arranged for them...........I worked with a doctor from India, her children were born in the U.S and she still intends for them to abide by the rules of the “old country” with regards to dating & marriage.........a neice of hers defied her parents & married a “white” American & has been blacklisted from the family.............how sad......

When it comes to these assclowns I will use the broadest brush I have to paint them. I am sick and fucking tired of everyone trying to kowtow to these fanatical bastards who insist on living in the 11th century and using 21st century weapons to drag us back there with them.
I will respect them more when they begin to respect their women more and when they begin to show the tolerance for other religions within their own country that they demand we show theirs in ours.
Plus, not until there are massive protests by Muslims in Muslim lands demanding the above coupled with said large groups protesting here in the US against the terrorist tactics used by these crazed fundamentalists, will there be a slight modification in my feelings towards them and their 5 times a day, ass in the air brethren.
In other words, until then, FUCK ‘EM!!
We were designing a hospital in al-Unayzah, north of Riyadh. We had been seeking approval of the floorplan for THREE meetings. No approval, but no honest or direct feedback on WHY we were not approved.
We pulled an all-nighter, 7 Korean architects and the Project Manager, the American overall Project Manager and the Medical Equipment specialist, an American expat named ‘me’.
After hours of reviewing what we’d presented, notes taken during the hours of meetings with govt officials, and poring over our floorplans, there came a moment about 0445, when everyone grew quiet and we knew why we’d been disapproved:
We needed armed guards at EVERY possible entry-way to the women and children, to keep Muslim men away from molesting and raping them night after night.
We put in the guardposts, presented our floorplans and -without EVER mentioning the guardposts- got nearly instantaneous approval!
One SICK culture, separating men from women all the time… seriously deviant!
