  1. Rogue wave, my wrinkled old butt!  I hope there are very few dumb enough to buy that lame explanation.

I like the “third hand”.  It is cool.

  2. BAP!

    “I say, Number one?”

    “Yes, Captain?”

“What was that? Not the bottle of Old Schmetlapps, I sincerely hope!”

“Oh, no Sir, she’s tucked away safe and sound. I do believe it was something by the aft quarterdeck.”

Hmmm, well, perhaps we’d best investigate. Send a man over that way to check on it. That’s a good fellow!”

    “Yes, Captain, right away, Sir!”

  3. HEHE, that reminds me of the fate of the Carrier USS America. As a test we hit it with everything short of an atom bomb and it still WOULD.NOT.SINK.This site doesnt tell what they really did bt its a start.

  4. Drew I suspect if the same explosives had detonated a few feet under the water the impact would have been far worse. These people are morons but they do learn from their mistakes. I think the Bofors suggestion is the most sensible option. Declare a safe zone around ships in international waters. Anyone approaching within say a mile is fair game.

Next entry: a military spouse sounds off in a long blog and takes no prisoners .. worth the time to read her.

Previous entry: The only picture to show what Henry VIII's spectacular ‘lost’ palace really looked like.
