I thought Lautenberg died years ago, I have not seen or heard of him since he came off the bench for the crook Torrecelli. Maybe he was just asleep the last couple years…
I maintain that Wilson himself put out the information that his wife (named) worked in the CIA in an interview (vanity fair, which just did a wonderful green issue which was just so warm fuzzy and tofu eating greatness) about a speech he did when he had to provide personal information about himself for the background of the article. This article was May to June (or was it July) before that article that the whole CIA agent outed garbage started. Besides Libby is in trouble for lying - no one yet has been pinned with the ‘outing’ to the press . . .
On the other hand Ms ‘Whistleblower’ admitted passing information and failed a lie detector test.
Ms Plame wasn’t undercover or covert or a super secret spy or whatever the dem whinners are calling her this week and Ms Mcarthy’s leak was about secret prisons - which probably set back intell and real covert spys for a few decades.
Does the fact that neither of these pieces of garbage resulted in a Bush administration person going to jail (without passing go) nor ended his presidency (I think the Wilson ‘Plamegate’ started before the ‘04 election) somewhat suspect as to motive - and oh by the way, both of these people [Wilson and McCarthy] were staunch Kerry supporters.
Gizmo I think tragically most of the congress and senatorial critters have been asleep at the wheel for a couple of years.
Isn’t that why he’s also known as “Lautencadaver?”
