  1. Here in the Heartland, I can’t but decongestants or a dozen other chemicals or meds without the FBI following me home.  The bumpersticker motto STOP METH!

And after we stop meth (real soon, I bet) we’ll work on getting the governments nose out of our ass.

P.S. meth sucks the big one—but, unlike the guv’mint, I can say NO to it

  2. That cartoon brings back the old saw: Many a truth is said in jest. The liberal justices are doing all the things that the libs are accusing the conservatives of wanting to do. Look at the dissenters on Kelo for example. I’m thinking that it was the conservatives that dissented on the medical marijuana ruling too. (I’m just too lazy to look it up)

  3. Yes, Yes, Yes!, Stinker! you are 100% correct. It WAS the conservatives who dissented on the medical marijuana ruling too!  WHEN WILL PEOPLE WAKE UP TO THIS! Conservatives are the real “liberals” out there! we are the ones who believe in more individual freedoms.

Many a truth said in jest - Truth is also often stranger than fiction.

  4. You guys aren’t justa woofin’.... Ztucka, are you old enough (note I didn’t ask you StinKerr?) to recall when the Liberals could be counted on for support on free speech issues? Or am I suffering from False Memory Syndrome? Look at college campuses.

  5. Ya got it, Oink.... Once upon a time, the liberals actually believed in freedom of speech, and freedom in general. Now they are just the 21th century version of bolsheviks.

Do what I say, Komrade, not what I do....  Your papers, please…

Years ago, ABC ran a miniseries called “Amerika” in which the USA had been taken over by the commies, and how all the liberal elite and “yuppies” were dutifully mouthing the official commie party line, and of course there were lots of freedom fighters (like us, today). That was way back before ABC went pinko, and the story was just fictional.

Move ahead 15 or 20 years, and it’s a lot closer to the current reality.

LC RP flag fighting FOR truth, justice and the REAL AMERICAN way.

  6. If/when Big Government ever gets rid of meth, they won’t simply go away, they’ll be going after some of our currently legal little pleasures of life, our guns, etc.

Oh, wait, they already are! never mind…

    My bad....  monkey

  7. Bayh says he won’t support Roberts nomination

    By Maureen Groppe
    Star Washington Bureau
WASHINGTON—Indiana pig heart Sen. Evan Bayh dickhead said Friday he will vote against the nomination of Judge Roberts to be the next chief justice of the U.S. Supreme Court because not enough is known about how Roberts will act.
    -----------------------------------------------------

So, what then?, Bayh has decided that being to the left of Mao is the road to the Democratic nomination?  I’m asking.
Aside from adding the Smileys, I shortened the above exerpt.

  8. Sorry, dunno what little beasties are flyin’ around in Bayh’s head.

I have to wonder how ‘Crying’ George Voinovich is gonna vote. I already know how I’m gonna vote when he comes up for re-election. Mike de Whine better watch himself too. Neither one is predictable.

(For those who require reminding: ‘Crying’ George sandbagged his chairman on the Bolton nomination, making the confirmation take longer. Making a vote of conscience is one thing, sandbagging the leadership is another.)
