when rape isn’t rape but only sexual assault

 

1. Writing can be cathartic. I can’t tell you how many emails Peiper and I exchanged on this story, at least a dozen or two, working through his righteous high dudgeon, examining sources, and trying to find a new angle on this story that is several years old. Hundreds and hundreds of articles have been written already, but not a one of them can mitigate the natural and proper RCOB reaction any normal person will have when first hearing the tale.

   It was a damn tough row for him to hoe, and I’m very glad that he was finally ready to put fingers to keyboard and crank something out. Good on ya, mate. Done us proud.

   Outside of wars, ethnic cleansing, and cultural terrorism, this is one of the sickest news stories to come along in a long time. A terrible miscarriage of justice from so many perspectives.

2. Lest you both forget - in the South - football is a religion and she dared to accuse one of the holy ones of a crime. I’m just shocked to think that the school system didn’t expel her immediately. But then what they did - was meant to intimidate any other foolish young girl from ever, ever accusing one of the high holy ones.

   It is a shame to the DA went along with it - catch that the rape didn’t go to the Grand Jury until AFTER Bolton had graduated from HS - sad commentary on the criminal justice system in Dallas.

   And then the other courts just went along with it.

   Once again the criminal is put above the crime, above the victim but more importantly - above society. Wonder how many innocents this not-convicted sex offender is going to hurt before someone stops him. And then the msm can ask the question - Why didn’t anyone see it coming (ala Jared Loughner)?

   The pc Left always talks down the crimes/behavior of any victim they ‘believe’ in and then stand there is disbelief when the inevitable happens.

   And the God Fearing and Sane ones continue to let it happen - so whose really to blame - the insane, amoral Left or the Right who should stop this once and for all - but chose not to?
