  1. I just watched this on NBC news.  Really goes to show how bad the leftist bias is.  Sadly, I was able to tell that he was a Democrat just based off the fact that it wasn’t mentioned.  If he was a Republican, the media would be trying to forecast (or actively direct) how bad this was and what this would do to the Bush campaign.

  2. You will note they DID mention the party of the Lt. Gov, so it’s not as if they were short of space.  Heck, I suppose someone could actually think “Well they say the Lt. Gov is a Democrat, so this guy must have been a Republican.”

  3. Thats right, a Republican would have been drawn and quartered by the media, His resignation was orchestrated by the Democrats for November 15 to keep the democrats in power, this allows for another disenfranchisement of the New Jersey voters like that which happend when Torricelli stepped down and Lautenburg was virtually appointed to office by the Democrats. The people of New Jersey should revolt over this type of duplicitous manuoever and demand a new governor’s ticket so they can vote a candidate from both parties on the ballot for November. If they are not willing to fight this they deserve to be a one party state.

  4. GOVERNOR: ‘I AM A GAY AMERICAN’

HA HA. Reminds me of that funeral scene in “Heathers”

“My son is dead...and he’s gay. I LOVE MY DEAD GAY SON!”

  5. I got it, I got it, I got it.  Do I get a diploma or something???

Not until the last paragraph can you even guess about it with this line “Republicans and newspaper editorials questioning McGreevey’s judgment.” AP (Anti-American Paranoids) doesn’t mention it either (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=519&ncid=519&e=1&u=/ap/20040813/ap_on_re_us/nj_governor_voters_4) and throw in the sympathy factor:  “Gay people were hit especially hard by the announcement.”

    Idiots.

  6. I really don’t care if McGreevey’s gay.......one of my best friends is gay and I love him dearly. I have a problem with him being married AND carrying on an affair with another man......Imagine having sex with your husband one night & the next night he’s out having sex with a man.....NOT!!!!!  If I were his wife I’d kick him out, sue for divorce and take him for all he’s worth!!!!  I didn’t see in the newspaper if there are any kids involved - if there are any kids, I truly feel sorry for them having this man as a father..........

  7. There are kids from both marriages. I understand the first wife moved to Canada with their daughter.

There is also a daughter, who will be 3 yrs old in december, with his 2nd wife. This from the governor’s web site.  http://www.state.nj.us/governor/firstfamily.html
