   Absolutely correct Pam, and seeing as this is a republican site I won’t go into the details, but it is scary for the wealthy that have had much influence in past times, my only concern is how far will it go and who is watching and waiting to pounce on a sleeping giant.......once again.

2. you guys are not alone, but oh boy are there a lot if heads in the sand, out of 20 or 30 people I know well there are only 2 who see this too, these are decent and smart people, both here in Canada and back when I was in the UK. I found no one in the UK but in Canada ( the liberal bastion) there are 3 who see,2 univestity graduates, one is mid 30s and one is 20 ish and one co-worker, eyes are still open in Canada, also the Toronto Sun is critical of Obama!! .

5. I’m a firm believer that the jug-eared jackoff is really a straw man.  There are people a hell of a lot smarter and more devious behind this carefully planned destruction of our republic. This “stimulus” pos was prepared well in advance of the lawn jockey’s election, as was the rediculous “budget” presented this week. A representative for D.C.? How many non-democrats do you suppose live there? Yet they stand the little jerk up in front of a microphone and have him lie his ass off about what is really going on.  In 30 days they have almost succeeded in destroying our country. The government no longer works for us, and we allowed this to happen.  To quote CS Schumer’ “the people don’t care”.

Totally agree.  I’ve been saying since 11/4/08 that what we saw then was a bloodless reenactment of the October Revolution.  If they manage to ram an amnesty bill through (which shouldn’t be too hard with bedwetting RINOs like Snowe, Collins, Specter and possibly McCain and Graham ready to vote for it) we’ll never shift them via the ballot box.  England, my country of origin, is already beyond hope but the frogs there had 50-60 years to get used to the rising temperature.  My only hope for this, my country of adoption, is that it’s all happening so brutally fast that perhaps enough people will stop and say this isn’t what I wanted, that we may be able to kick the bastards out.

   Only one tiny quibble:  Winston was never in the Lords—even after he retired as PM he refused or was denied a peerage (I forget which)-- and spent his whole political life in the Commons.
