Well darn it, here I am again and on the same darn subject. But I predicted it and no surprise.

  1. We need to go back to when the ultra violent nut cases were kept under lock and key in semi-fortress type buildings with iron bars and surly knuckle dragging guards. This notion of mainstreaming the insane should be accompanied by the imprisonment or execution of the attending physician when the loon pops a breaker and kills someone.

  2. I could not agree more Sig. It is sad, but it is a truth: there are some people who should not be allowed out in public. People with severe impairments are treated much much better these days than they used to be, and many of them can manage pretty well with some assistance. But there are still some humans who are right out of a nightmare. They should not be free to hunt among us, for their freedom puts all of us at risk. Out of fairness and good intentions the “line” was moved far to the left a few decades ago. Maybe it’s time that line was rethought and redrawn, as it looks like it may have been drawn too far.

Peiper, do you know this woman? This incident really seems to have gotten to you.
