I read, decades ago, a factual account of a poor fellow stationed in Greenland, who finally snapped under the cold and isolation. Using a bulldozer, he wrote the word “FUCK” on the ground in giant letters—clearly visible from airplanes at 35000 feet.
Allegedly, the legislature was going to appropriate money to eradicate it, once they figured out how to phrase the description of the problem.
