  1. Small world with Heidi and Hannibal.

In Marshall Saunders’ Beautiful Joe (dating from the late 19th century), a traveling animal carnival comes to town, and two of the animals are a donkey and a gander, as inseparably attached as Heidi and Hannibal.

That “sword-wielding robber” sounds like a Dungeons and Dragons game that got out of hand.  No real robber could possibly be so absent-minded, let alone stupid enough to come back begging.

  2. Tannenberg - catch the Dumb Criminals (tv spots now and then, calendar, probably on the InterNet somewhere) their are some real dumb criminals out there.

Heidi and Hannibal - not worth the read, if you know anything about horses - check out horse shows, racing barns and other places horses gather - the attachment to cats, dogs, goats, birds and other assorted strange fanged, furry and feathered friends is legend. A lot of ‘high’ strung performance horses are given these friends to keep them calm and entertained while shut up in stalls while ‘on the circut’, race horses because they are shipped around to so many different places and many people use them with their show horses because they are without horse companions.

The first guy needs to be given the history of the czars (particularly but Royals) to see the stupidity of inter-breeding and the dangers that the desire for ‘purity’ wroughts. Also might just want to check out a genetics book or two as to why familial interbreeding is BAD.

Bet ya the stupid wife in the dog case doesn’t even divorce this loser - someone just might want to point out that incest will probably be his next step.

And we in the real world have to wonder why Indonesia and India are among the poorest places in the world? Worship cows and trees and stay poor and stupid.

What a strange and mad world we live in. Now I’m going to brush my dog and cat’s teeth.

  3. Regarding the Muslin tree-chopping story, I’m thinking that maybe we should start chopping down a few Muslims to prove that THEY have no special, magical, mystical powers.

  4. Oh, dear. Life’s just no fun anymore. Sigh.
