3. Dick - that is probably how they are going fire his liberal butt. Certainly nothing he spewed from his mouth was at all offensive to the enlightened elite. Probably too many alumni threatened their donor dollars and the BOR had to come up with a legal reason to get rid of him.

   Nothing stands in the way of an election win or money for a liberal.Nothing.

5. Hang on, Tuesday isn’t here yet.  I’ll believe the Board of Regents has fired him when the announcement is official.  There’s too many ways that they can still weasel out of it.  I don’t trust them or Churchill.

   Like most of the super celebrity liberals, he will, if fired, become another member of moveon.org or some other liberal “think tank” as a vociferous (and venomous) member of the liberal far far left elite who we will see every time we turn on the news, especially when he takes a peek at the Gorebot’s record and earnings from the horrible fever that the earth is going through. Maybe, as a member of the Cree, Sequoia, Cherokee, or Watsamattayew tribe, to add some “true academic concensus” to the “argument"…
   just my humble, sleep deprived opinion.

8. He was given an honorary membership to one of the tribes.. It was something like what Clinton was given during his reign of error. Nope, He’s just another European American White schlub like any of us others, but, he got visions of grandeur, and a new way he could be a ‘victimized minority’ so he took the ball and ran with it, like any good liberal plagiarizing, whining liberal idol would.

9. The ACLU website says that they are getting involved because of 1st Amendment issues of free speech and academic freedom.  What Churchill is getting fired for is plagiarism. His nasty comments brought the attention, but he is being fired because he steals other people’s ideas and passes them off as his own.  It seems to me that in this case, the free speech argument is just a red herring to distract from the point that the man repeatedly violated academic ethics.  Divergent points of view, even those as nasty as Churchill’s are necessary for a full debate, BUT trading in lies and stolen crap is a clear violation of academic standards.  Others have been broken for this offense, why should Churchill be exempt?

   Now about the ACLU:  I won’t even begin to guess at their motives, but if the best defense they have is that they must defend his 1st Amendment rights, then they have chosen their fight very badly.  The man is certainly intelligent and creative (check some of his actual work, the use of logic and fact is brilliant, even if it is sick and destructive), but he is also a first class plagiarist hiding behind Constitutional skirts.  One issue should not be mistaken for the other.
