  1. This really shot my weekend in the ass.I really am sick about this, although I can’t say I am the least bit surprised.Good GOD,if this doesn’t wake the American people up as to the true nature of the left we really are lost.

  2. I’d sure like to find where I read this, but here is a story about just this topic.

On 9/11/01 a United flight attendant was in the boarding area for a flight helping customers check in and preparing to take tickets. Two Arab looking men came into the seating area together, chatting and laughing and sat together talking amiably. Very common scene.

When they came to her to check in, she saw that one had a first class ticket, the other coach. She noticed that there were empty seats in first class and offered to upgrade the coach ticket. After all, they were obviously acquainted, even friends, so she extended this courtesy. Wouldn’t we all like to get a first class upgrade?

The two men became very agitated. No, they HAD to take their previously assigned seats. They could NOT take an upgrade. They insisted that they sit where they were already assigned.

The attendant got really suspicious. This was just too far out of the norm. She contemplated contacting security, but she just knew that if she raised the alarm and it was just nothing that SHE’D be in the hot seat for profiling, racism, blah blah blah. So, she kept quiet. The flight was one of the planes hijacked.

I thought we were a bit past this, but since one party insists that the whole War On Terrorists is just a bumper sticker cause of the day to get us all scared, I guess not. Too bad the thing that is getting people scared is not the tangos but our own childish laws and blinkered “leaders.”

  3. "This is a slap in the face of good citizens who do their patriotic duty and come forward, and it caves in to radical Islamists,” said Rep. Peter T. King, New York Republican and ranking member of the House Homeland Security Committee.  Peter King was the sponsor of this bill.  He is the real deal, I live in NY and he is pretty much on the right side of issues. He was also the guy who took on the Bush administration over the ports last year.  I just don’t know, things are seemingly spiraling downwards. Does not seem to be much common sense around anymore.

  4. Yeah, CdeBlue I agree, there is no common sense anymore. This is an oldie, but still appropriate. (author unk):

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who
has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was,
since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:
Knowing when to come in out of the rain; Why the early bird gets the
worm; Life isn’t always fair; and Maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend
more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but
overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy
charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended
from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for
reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the
job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly
children. It declined even further when schools were required to get
parental consent to administer Calpol, sun lotion or a band-aid to a
student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and
    wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became
contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received
    better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn’t defend yourself from a
burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.
Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to
realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her
lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was
preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife,
Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason.

He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights,
Someone Else Is To Blame, and I’m A Victim.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.

  5. I notice that the Hildabeast voted for it. Chucky Schumer did too. Ya gotta wonder if they knew it would fail and were hedging their bets. And Obama Yo Mamma didn’t vote. Again, looks like CYAism to me.

How is it that reporting suspicious behavior leaves you open to a lawsuit anyway? Its not as if the tipster is the one bringing charges against the suspicious acting person. I guess having the cops come by and ask what you’re doing is some kind of libelous harassment these days?

  6. Holy Crap!  Specter was on the Right side for once!  I think I see pigs flying over Philadelphia.

  7. Common Sense is dead and if we don’t stop the ship of fools in Congress - America is going to become the next front on the War on Terror (Silky Pony Edwards and his bumper sticker not withstanding).

Isn’t that ‘Report Something Suspicious’ part of the Homeland Security mantra list (like duct tape and plastic shrink wrapping your home)?

And of course DNC Congresscritters who are schizophrenic crack rabbits - who screed on and on about President Bush not implimenting the recommendetions of the 9/11 Commission - just didn’t pass a law to protect those Americans who want to do one of those recomendations without al-Qaeda front CAIR retaliating.

And they have to wonder at all - why their damn numbers are plumeting to lower than the President faster? I can’t wait for the msm to have to deal with single digits - that should be a hoot and coming faster than Christmas at the rate these losers are going.

  11. Gutless. Absolutely beneath contempt.

  12. The names listed in the nay column is the Who’s Who of American traitors.

  13. I loathe the abstainers more than those honorless scum who voted this down.  At least those vile scourge who betrayed our country had the guts to actually take sides.  Obama and the others who sat on the fence are afraid to show any opinion to avoid being disliked by voters over their views, showing them to be as capable to stand firm as a blade of grass.
