BWS. Blog Withdrawal Syndrome.
I was without the Innertubes for two months solid back in ‘08, and it sucked like hard vacuum.
I got a LOT done around the house, etc, but I was constantly on edge, kinda mentally gritting my teeth all the time.
He should be getting the benifit of not being in damp, miserable England! I hope thay both have a good time, they deserve it.
I know the USA is a bit backwards but surely they have internet cafes??Posted by Chris Edwards

Hello to Peiper and my hopes that he can one day return to his homeland and settle back in for good. I can’t imagine now, going without a computer/internet for long at all (perhaps that is the real reason we only do over night trips but it is so damn convenient to blame it on our son) - the future President always travels with her laptop - I may have to invest in one - damn, another reason to go out and get a job.
Tell Peiper if he gets bored - forget the casinos - go up to 29 Palms and see how real Americans who work for their lousy pay live.

LOL I can relate to being agog at American stuff, and I was only there 15 days
After leaving the airport in a full size American van, like riding in a mansion,
and pulling onto a wide lane American freeway with emergency lanes! Everything
felt oversized and a little alien at first. But then the reality set back in.
and I realized, I am an American, I was born here, this how I live, and I am
one of the 300,000,000 luckiest people alive on this planet! God! My God
it was good to be home! Loved England though, and her people. Especially Tintagel.If Peiper can’t find a `puter to use for checking up on this nonsense it’s cuz he’s not trying. Public internet is all over the place.
Glad you’re home Peiper. Have some good R&R while you are here. We’ll miss your posts if you are gone too long tho, so please at least let us know whaz up once in a while.
