2. "likey” therefore “pikey”?

   How amazingly Londonish, arresting the guy because the word he said has a rhyming slang word with a gray-area negative meaning.

   Pikey?? WTF. From “piker”? ... a slacker or a vagabond or a miser or a light drinker or a small minded person. Pick your definition.

   “Arrest that man, he called me George!!” Huh? Well, George III rhymes with turd, so that’s hate speech.
   “Oh yeah, well duck glue!”

   I’m absolutely certain the UK will have Thought Police by the middle of next summer. You guys have gone off the deep end, and you’re wearing concrete boots.

3. This is one time where the phrase - Sue the b*stards - would be very applicable - false arrest, false imprisonment, emotional terror and harm - etc.

   Well Drew we beat ‘em to it with the Hate Crimes law - Anything to make anyone that The Administration does not like - rot in jail attempting to prove a negative.

   It is very scary times we are living in.

5. thanks OCM .. read the link. I had never heard the term but find it interesting that even that far back, they were noted for less then straightforward behavior.
   They are a menace all told.  I’d certain there are some who don’t fit the mold. Those’d be a small minority.
