  3. I have an old 96 passat sound old car the 2012 mexican jetta, pile of badly made crap! I guess these workers want to keep their jobs and if they went union the cost increase would send their jobs sour too, perhaps that was the management agenda too?

  4. Spring Hill was in general area we once lived in. There has always been a demand for union but ... not by the work force. They had voted more than once against a union over the years.

  5. I guess that they did not want to become Detroit. Look at all the great things Public Education (21% of adults can not read the diploma they received), Unions, and the Casino did for Detroit - I won’t mention the 100 years of Dem City Control - as that would simply be redundant.

As for cars - they are becoming spying, computer heavy crap - too bad. Stupid people, don’t realize that the next step is Control - to keep you from going to fast or using too much fuel or some such nonsense. I still remember my brother’s and cousin’s - 56 Chevys - could have probably driven through a brick wall - and as teens - they were able to work on them to keep them running. For relative pennies compared to the costs of today.

  6. Good to see those Union jerks lose!

  7. Macker, yeah. The union in Spring Hill has been trying it on ever since the place first opened.  Employees have voted against having a union from the very beginning, in spite of dire warnings of economic disaster the unions predicted.
Oh, and the usual charge against employees who vote anti union,,, they’re all fascists.

I like Wardmom’s line too, about not wanting to become Detroit.

  8. Chris we had a Mexican made Jetta (2006) It was just as well made as our German built Audi in my view. The Germans have unions in their factories, but they seem to work together rather than against each other. I think too that the workers in this plant have seen how the UAW carries on and decided they could do just as well without those pseudo gangsters interfering.
