Turkey Turkey Turkey, Every Thanksgiving

 

1. Happy Anti-PETA Turkey Massacre Day all! Remember to be thankful for what you have, and thankful for what hasn’t hit ya!

   Don’t eat too much, and frankly, I’m not following that advice myself, but make sure the Pepto is in stock, and enjoy.

   btw, I give thanks to all those folks in the Middle East who can’t be with their families to protect our freedom, I was there, I know it’s not fun.

2. I second the Thank You to all our Troops most especially in the War Zones but also to those just very far from home - have done more than a few years - and know how lonely (even surrounded by people) it can be.

   I am so Thankful for my family - some of whom are coming here sometime before the turkey is done. I am so blessed with a wonderful family whom I love dearly.

   And I am Thankful for the fact that I’ve finished Christmas shopping as we can now sock away most of what we will make next month - to help get us through a long, cold winter without any money coming in from jobs.

   My philosophy on dining is - There is always room for Turkey, on my plate, right next to the mashed potatoes!

4. I’ve been trying to get people to understand—REALLY understand—the “intolerable acts” which caused our Founders to revolt.

   Compared to what we swallow on a daily basis, they were NOTHING.

   It’s long past time we took our country back, by whatever means are necessary.

   God help us - and God Save Our Republic!!

5. I am with you there, DD. However, until a few of the sheeple learn this, we are overwhelmed by sheer numbers. No one listens, and if you say it to loud, you can be ‘disappeared’ without question, and whatever reputation you ever had destroyed.
   Remember the Fisa courts that the liberals tried to get wiped out while Bush was in office? It can work both ways.

   This country has dug an awful deep hole, and it’s going to be a long climb out.

6. I think that Turkey has an idea.

   But one thing: the Puritans HARDLY had a small,inoffensive government. Massachusetts Bay WAS run as a theocracy, and God HELP you if you disagreed with the leadership. Sure, it was local, but it was still despotism.
