  4. One of my biggest heros to. I’m glad that I share the same state of birth as he does, The great state of Iowa, Never have we produced a man as great as he was yet but if by some chance we do then the liberals should beware because he won’t take crap from you either.

  5. This is Osama’s greatest fear, an American who will show no fear, never surrender and fights till all his enemies are dead!

God bless the Duke and all those who share his spirit.

  6. I must admit, I cried when I found out John Wayne died.
I grew up watching his movies and part of “The Hellfighters” was filmed in Baytown Texas, where I lived as a child. Probably one of the most exciting things that ever happened in that city, now that I think about it!
I watched True grit with my son a while back. He looked at me and asked if he had “done any other movies”..
That led to a trip to Wal Mart and a weekend John Wayne festival at my house. He invited some friends over and we all watched The Sons of Katie Elder, The Cowboys, El Dorado, True Grit and The Hellfighters.
They loved the movies, as I did. Brought back many memories of sitting in the theaters as a young girl.
That has got to be the ONLY time I truly grieved over the passing of a Hollywood “star”!
John Wayne was the great American hero (Hollywood style).
Take no crap from anyone, never surrender and certainly never run from an enemy!
    Sic HIM on Osama!
    Ah, if only we could…
    To the Duke:
Rest In Peace. We miss you!
A great American hero and a great patriot!
