Too easy Allan.
BTW. I met a very funny young lady who is studying in Poland. I mean crack-you-up funny. I linked to her. You should too. Trust me. You’ll see her at my house. She is wicked funny. Be fun here amigo.
OCM, you dawg, you! Hittin’ on Slim’s daughter. Be ashamed.
I agree. “Strangelove” has got to be the the most ironical, satirical movies of all time. George C. Scott, Peter Sellers, Slim Pickens - that movie is a hoot! It speaks volumes about life in our nation’s capitol.
Did Slim go Major Kong on you for that, Cat?
Here’s another favorite line of mine:
“Laugh-a while you can-a Monkey Boy!”
1. Gone with the Wind
2. The Godfather
3. On the Waterfront
4. The Wizard of Oz
5. Casablanca
6. Dirty Harry
7. Sunset Boulevard
8. Star Wars
9.
10.Taxicab
10. Taxi Driver.
U2,
Good!
Is number 9 AIRPLANE?
Peter Sellers - The BEST.
9 is not Airplane - though they did have a quote from that movie.
(Saw the show last night, when I wasn’t watching House, so I won’t play )
A personal favorite: “Oh, look, somebody threw away a perfectly good white boy”
1. GWTW - Gable
2. Godfather - Brando...no, wait, it was Pacino.
3. Requiem for a Heavyweight(?) - Brando
4. Wizard of Oz (and a couple of other movies too) - Garland
5. Casa Blanca - Bogie ... or was it Michael Jackson at home?
6. Dirty Harry - Eastwood
7. Duh can’t think of it.... Hollywood Blvd (?)
8. Star Wars - half the cast
9. What Ever Happened to Baby Jane (?) Bette Davis
10. Taxi Driver - DeNiro
C’Mon, everyone! # 9 is from “All About Eve” and was spoken by Bette Davis. Are there no old farts here who remember that movie?
sigh.
OCM: is it true that cats love fish or is it just things that smell like fish?
I like the Dr. Strangelove line delivered by Slim Pickens. EeeeeHawwww!!! while he was going down on the A-bomb.
