  1. I like it.  Even worse:  KoolAid Drinking Sheep.

Wall Street’s menagerie.  To the well-known BULLS & BEARS—both of whom can make money—we add SHEEP & PIGS: both of them get slaughtered.

  2. oh you mean PUSSIES, ASSHOLES, and DICKS

  3. Sheep and sheepdogs. http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/articles/2007/06/05/graying_duo_keep_passenger_in_check/

  4. If you practice enough, you will react automatically when the time comes.  Even sheepdogs know the benefits of repeated drill and practice.

Training, drill and practice are also confidence builders.  Choose a weapon and become an absolute expert with it.  Know its strengths and weaknesses.  Know your strengths and weaknesses.

Ever see a sheepdog smile?  He knows he can take you and is happy in the thought.

  5. liberals absolutely hate this analogy.  The usual rant attacks the sheepdog for serving his master and oppressing the sheep. Besides mis-characterizing their protectors, they never seem to get around to criticizing the wolf for terrorizing the flock, or the sheep themselves for not being able to defend themselves.

    Excellent advice from MAJ Mike.

  6. The pacifist indoctrination is running rampant in our school system.  We’re turning out kids that are defenseless and depend on our government for even the most basic need like self defense.

  7. I love this guy.  He drives the bats in the UNC system crazy.  they dont know how to deal with someone who speaks the unvarnished truth.  My son is a constitutional attorney in Raleigh and has had occasion to speak with Dr Adams and wishes he had professors like him when he was getting his degree in criminal justice.  I didnt realize how F’ed up UNC had become until his sister went to UNC-Chapel Hill.  Her politics affected her grades and she had several battles with the Professors there.  unfortunatly, there are very few of Dr Adam’s ilk anywhere in our colleges today

  8. OK, I figure that this kind of stuff is basic.  Except for sporting events, no on in their right mind wants to fight, but conversely, if you are not ready, willing and able should the occasion arise, you are as big a part of the problem as your attacker.  So now that we’ve all agreed on the obvious, what next?

Now I gotta ask:  How did Chapel Hill, North Carolina get infested with Moonbats!?!?!?  I thought there was a state law banning them!

  9. I completely agree with the training—even something as simple as thinking your course of action thru ahead of time can be useful.  For example: knowing what to do if my car’s hood flew up when driving helped save my ass.***

BUT, regarding sheepdogs vs. wolves, you’ve got to have the ability to respond to violence with instant violence. Not everyone can.  Most folks die while still in shock and disbelief.

*** look out your side window and steer by the white line ... don’t over use your steering or brakes.

  10. You know this analogy works so well cause the moonbats hate is so much. wink

Seriously, I have for a long time considered myself a sheepdog. Then my first son was born, and I KNEW I was a sheepdog, and had to be. Something about having children cemented those feelings in me. I re-entered karate for the first time in about ten years, and took my first firearms class since I was a boy scout. I purchased a couple of firearms, and regularly practice with them. Now I have 4 boys, and am doing my best to teach THEM to be sheepdogs too. Thing is, as Tenbeers said, the school system is trying its hardest to pacify our kids! When a fight starts in school, they don’t care who started it, both kids get suspended.

I have taught my kids never to start a fight, but by all means, finish it. I don’t need my kid getting hurt because he wouldn’t stick up for himself, worrying what the school will do to him for getting in a fight.

On the issue of training and how one would react in one of ‘those’ situations...thats what training is all about. With enough training, you don’t have to think, the training takes over. Still something to ponder though.

  11. You make up your MIND ahead of time about what your response will be when the flag goes up, then you train and practice so your response will be quick and accurate--likely you will not have time to think about things when immediate action is called for.

  12. Exactly.

What the sheep don’t understand (maybe they do) is that the criminally minded target those that they sense are inadequately protected.

Its not difficult for them to pick out who not to mess with.

The sheepdog’s weapon may be concealed, but the “you better not fuck with me” attitude is not.
