Love It!!
We all do know that Carrol O’Conner was a retard libtard though,Right?
Rich you believe that when he went after the drug dealer whom he felt was part and parcel of his son’s suicide? And that he gave a million dollars to his Alma Mater? I don’t know many liberals (most especially Kalifornia based ones entrenched in hollywierd) who would do those kinds of things.
Nor even touch the role of Archie Bunker with a ten foot pole.
No, it was Rob Reiner aka Meathead who was/is the super leftist. And these days he directs. His latest crapola is that he won’t shoot any films in North Carolina because of their “anti-trans" hate-bill. What the bill does (just like PA’s law that all cities and towns have to abide by the state gun laws and can’t write their own contrary ones) is to mandate that all cities and towns NOT write their own anti-discrimination laws. But to a dyed in the wool Meathead, who must have scored an F on reading comprehension, this means SC is rolling back gay/trans rights. Stupids.
Hey,Don’t shoot the messenger here gang;

Make up your own facts,Like Wiki seems to here.
Yes - that works for me counter a fan based ‘bio’ on the internet with a fan based debunking.
Having been a Heat of the Night huge - big, big - fan - I followed the story of his son’s suicide (ironic isn’t it)very closely. Nit picking how someone writes - does not change the facts.
And dealing with two very liberal family members whose sons dived head first into the drug addiction world - I see diametrically opposed responses to what is being claimed that a liberal would do (in O’Connor’s case). One denies any fault what-so-ever and still (son is mid 30s now) is attempting to ‘fix’ (i.e. control) his life. {Ironic here, is that he despises our father for doing exactly that to HIM] and the other hid it all because she took it on herself as to fault. . .
Wiki is known for fan edit - but facts are facts. And O’Connor put blame on the drug dealer - especially after Hugh attempted to get clean. In the end - suicide is the person’s decision - but being a public figure O’Connor did bring some very important issues that affect so many families into the Public discussion arena.
And that is a good thing.
