Think it will work?

  1. I can’t help thinking that there is probably some law against mass-murdering bees. Especially in this cruel and unusual way.

I’ll contribute to your legal defense fund though.  clap

  2. If that doesn’t do it I’m going to get a few of those poison fog bombs. Do they work on bees? There’s got to be 8000 cubic feet of space up there; I can’t spend all day looking for some damn nest.

  3. The poison bombs will work very well Drew, but having used one before there is a risk that some of the insecticide will get into your house. It doesn’t smell nice and your neighbour probably wouldn’t be too happy. Over here we can buy a powder for wasps which you puff around the entrance it kills them very quickly. I seem to recall there was a specific spray by Johnson and Johnson called Raid which was for wasp nests. If you can get tape on the outlet maybe you could spray this? It had about a 12’ spray as I recall.

  4. Raid works very well if you know where the nest is. The spray stays in a tight stream and goes up to 20’ if aimed right. I’m in the boat business and found it very handy for getting the nests in the side engine room vents on inboards. Most boats are parked only 8’ or so apart & it used to be a contest when I went after them with a conventional spray (where you have to get close. Not much maneuvering room in an 8’ corridor).
I could have just not bothered but wasps & customers don’t get along well with each other. chasehatchet

  5. Horrabin - no I’m sure they don’t. But it must have been a hoot watching the customer start the engine up for the first time each season.

Churra-rurra-rurra-rurra-vroom! And a whole cloud of pissed off wasps shoot out the side vents!! LOL LOL LOL
