  1. Wasn’t Harry Reid going to testify about how much Abramof loot he hoovered up?

  2. This is why they are more than willing to accuse anyone of anything - all the crap they’ve covered up and lied about - ‘takes one to know one’

I say get rid of them all, make it a pay cap of $75k, into SS, a 3 term limit, no money from lobbyists or corps, no pork or earmarks (or whatever cutesy phrase they come up with next term)[i.e. no amendments on any bill], no voting their own pay raises, rules, colas (or any other perks, bennie they can think of), you must be present at least 66% of the term to be paid, no more ‘junkets’, no more tax hikes for 10 years (at least), cut welfare by 1% each year, and so on and so on - you don’t want to know what I think should be done to the IRS [yes, there will be blood]

Then let’s see how well this country gets back to the business of working, not grabbing ‘news’ headlines - which most turn out to be crap anyway. This idiots are so full of themselves when they all are just liars, cheaters and they are led by a killer.

  3. I would like to have seen that interrogation take place. Unfortunately, it just ain’t gonna happen, but it sure would have been fun to watch!

  4. Comrades,

Actually, one solution I suggested many years ago was to make the states that each official represents responsible for the costs of the official’s upkeep.

Alternately, build a housing development, or highrise condo facility, and provide each rep and senator with a place to stay, for free. They also get free meals at the Congressional Dining Hall each day. They are each given a bus and subway pass, and a free parking slot at their domicile. They are to be paid at the same rate as military officers, starting at paygrade O-1 with pay raises matched to those given to Social Security and Veteran’s pensions. Medical care and Dental care is provided free of charge at nearby Walter Reed hospital. At the beginning and end of each session, they get one round-trip coach fare to their home state. Anything else they need, they have to provide for themselves.

It’s time to make public service PUBLIC SERVICE. Make retirement benefits available only at whatever age Social Security kicks in, or disability is proven. Same as for everyone else.

    Respects,

    Gwedd

  5. Gwedd:  I like it, but it’ll never fly.  The foxes are in charge of the chicken coop.

  6. Remember, hoovering up Abramoff loot is an offense, only if the hooverer was a Republican.

The foxes are in charge of the chicken coop, the Japanese are in charge of Save The Whales, Dick Cheney is in charge of Firearms Safety, and Ted Kennedy is in charge of Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

    It’s a mixed-up, fixed-up world, indeed…

  7. Maj Mike - the hyenas, vultures and wolverines are in charge of everything. Their desire is to pick it clean and make everyone NOT them serve them and provide them with all that they need to live. I still say, go find a nice communist country to inhabit and leave the US alone.

Police, fire and military (who all lay their lives on the line & whose families pay for it forever) get crap while these liars, cheats and womanizers, get it all.

Keep it up and maybe the ole US might get to know what a coup is like.
We can only dream. . .

  8. They’re the new aristocracy.

What’s the best place for an aristocrat’s head?  On the end of a pike.

  9. i for one, would LOVE to have a front row and center seat for this verbal exchange....

in fact, i think my eyes would glaze over with pure, unadulterated happiness just in hearing it.

Watching the afore mentioned Senators called to task? pure visual orgasm.

    ha!
