  1. I can’t decide what’s the worst of this situation:

    1) affordability of Flori-DUH is going to go down even more as a larger % of the population goes on ‘the dole’

    2) since when has beachfront property and a moderate climate become a ‘right’ in America

    3) this just moves us one more step closer to the communist society that libs want

You know, when you aren’t richer than God, a politician, or won’t work for a living - entitlement societies SUCK

    cool smirk

  2. Comrades,

Broward County.. Broward County.. that name rings a bell.... Hmmm let me think a moment.. Elections, maybe? Something about Democrats running the county but somehow alledging voter fraud? Disenfranchisement of voters? In a Democratic County… naaahhh.. couldn’t be…

Yup.... looks like what they really want is to expand their voter base by buying votes through entitlement programs. After all, it’s easy enough to lean on the poor to vote a certain way when your county officials have copies of both the voter registration rolls and the housing-assistance rolls. Not that I would EVER suggest that such a thing might EVER happen… nope. Not me… uhuh…

    Respects to all,

  3. Darn, Fellow BMEWS-ers!

That makes us ineligible for assistance! We all make lots more money that that, don’t we? 3stooges

The Skipper spends more than that each year making home-made beer. Dottie earns three times that at the hospital, Barb even more at the produce department, and you wouldn’t believe that Social Security check OCM gets! I’ll stop, for fear off embarassing the rest of you and getting you in hot water with the IRS.

  9. OK.  I’m trying to figure out the math.  Help me here, I’m not too good at rifmatik.
I buy a $339,000.00 for $238,000.00, then In order to subsidize my own savings, my property taxes will be cranked up so high I end up spending more than the $101,000.00 I supposedly saved.
If Carlton Moore ever approaches smiling and nodding like a bobble head wanting to shake your hand, RUN AWAY!  RUN AWAY!

  12. Oink - #3- I certainly don’t earn that much working as a nurse.........however, when I was divorced the courts in Missouri awarded me half of all my former husbands resources............suffice it to say, I am very comfortable............thank you.......

  13. I didn’t want to brag, but I can hardly make a dent in my VA Compensation** check before the next one comes rolling in.

** NOT needs-based; payment for damages. Using OCM-style calculation (see above) = 15 cents per bullet that came my direction.
