  1. I don’t understand why we don’t disappear him.  When we missed our opportunity in 2004 to kill or capture him, he was wanted by iraqi authorities for murder.  What happened to that charge?  And the guy is a phoney cleric - he dropped out of mullah school.  Snipe his cheap politician’s ass.

  4. Allowing Moqtada al Sadr to remain free and alive is one of the gravest errors we made when we invaded Iraq.  The dust of our entrance into Baghdad hadn’t settled when Sadr murdered a rival cleric in the culmination of their power struggle.  For months, there was an murder warrant out for him that was mysteriously dropped.  This man is responsible for many of the horrors of the “insurgency” and he is also working closely with the Iranians to make things much more miserable in Iraq.

I’ve looked in vain for information as to why we backed off and allowed him to run amok.  He has done nothing to help anyone except himself.  It’s interesting to see that even the NY Times knows these things - why not get rid of the source of so much misery and mayhem?  Does anyone out there have an answer?

  5. Yes, but we were trying to be sensitive to their ‘religion’ and look where it got us. They are blowing up and attacking their ‘own’ mosques now and hiding behind this guy.

Seal the border to Iran - but you big bucks that will almost completely stop the Baghdad ‘violence’. BTW, little known factoid - the Shite Iraqis in the south control the OIL, big surprize that Iran wants to be behind a civil war.

So much for the vaulted - investigative and researching - media in America. No they are too busy making this all about ‘Bush’s War’ and evil bushitlerburton co. . .
