  1. You don’t pick and choose your assignments.  His commissioning oath included a line about following the orders of those appointed over him.  The burden of proof regarding the legality of his deployment orders is upon him.  By all ratiional analysis, his orders to Iraq were legal and moral.

This sack of shit should be court-martialed, reduced in rank to Private/E-1, and forced to pay back any and all financial assistance he may have received during college.

After that, hard time on the wrong side of the wire at Ft. Leavenworth.

No way in Hell should this traitorous bastard be an officer in my U.S. Army!!!  I’d have fragged the SOB if we’d been in a combat theater.  How could you count on him when the shit hit the fan?

  2. Watada and lawyer please meet the UCMJ.  Watada, you seem to forget that the military owns you for the duration (and perhaps even afterwards if they so choose).  Mr lawyer, dufus, this is the military and while it defends the rights of civilians, does so at the expense of maintaining good military order.  Watada, I hope that you wind up in a Marine Corps brig for the execution of your prison term.

  3. Maj. Mike,

Although I agree with most of your post, there is one passage that I cannot agree to, sir: “I’d have fragged the SOB if we’d been in a combat theater”.

He’s in the stockade for precisely the reason your statement doesn’t count, he refused to go to the combat theater, sir.

He’s a yellow bellied POS that doesn’t deserve to wear the uniform of his Country, or to hold a commission.  For being college educated, he’s not too smart, since he obviously didn’t read the oath he swore, or the contract he signed.  Or, he could have slept through the class that said you no longer fall under civilian rights and laws and are bound by the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

  4. All other arguments for sacking this clown aside, and there are many good ones, I’d like to see the verbatim excerpt from the Army Regulation which states “wars must be waged in accordance with the United Nations charter”.  Methinks the defense lawyers are taking a good bit of liberty with the actual language and intent...i.e., it probably really says something along the lines of “Operations must be conducted according to internationlly accepted Laws of War”.

  5. And to think this sack of **** is assigned to Duece Four!

Ham, apparently they (look at who this kid’s father is) think the UN Charter is where the laws of war are contained. Unfortunately, said laws of war are contained in the Geneva and Hague conventions, and they say illegal combatants- people with no recognized rank structure, who fight for no recognized sovereign nation, and who wear no identifying mark, the actual treaties say are spies and can be executed after the completion of a field cour martial. Once again, the libs REALLY do not want us to conduct the Iraq war according to the ‘Laws of War.”

  6. Where is the charge of dereliction of duty, failure to obey lawful orders, and desertion? And, yes, Mr. civilian law piece of shit, your wall full of verbal slime means nothing in THIS court - only the UCMJ. Guilty. Reduction in rank, forfieture of pay, a pleasant stay (NOT) at that lovely (Rock) garden at Leavenworth, and then a dishonorable discharge. I would PERSONALLY love to strip the rank off this rancid mole dropping.

And although the idea of a firing squad for desertion DOES have its attraction, I do so love a long, drawn-out time for “introspection”.  Especially in a stockade.

  7. He’s lucky they only want 6 years of him.  Lesser cowards have been shot-as he should be… machinegun

  8. Well hell, I don’t have to say much at all. Ya’ll have already said it. And just how the F&#* did this ACLU pos get involved with a military tribunal?

Posted by cmblake6    United States   01/17/2007  at  08:56 PM

  9. It figures that the ACLU would be mixed up with this.  As always, they are the flies who swarm to the shit for sustenance.

As for the specimen in question, here is another good reason to bring back Alcatraz.

  11. No Punishment is too harsh for him in my book...The Slimeball Enlisted in 2003 and expected to not be called to war? He’s a pawn and I’m surprised he wasn’t weeded out in basic…

  12. I’ll lay odds he’s some liveral’s pawn as well. Likely his father’s.

I’ve got a job for him. IED clearing.

  14. "Watada refused to go to Iraq last June with his unit, the 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, after conducting research and deciding the war was illegal. He has said he would be willing to serve in Afghanistan or elsewhere.”

I say, give him his druthers. Send his sorry ass to Afghanistan. I’m sure the troops there will take care of him…

  15. Well most of what I wanted to say, has been said. These moonbat lunatic leftists who want every damn thing approved by the UN (oh, btw, lunatic left - your ‘first’ black President, didn’t get UN approval for his ‘War’) but facts aside.

I agree with the comments on charges - thanks to our intrepid (and seriously biased msm) the majority of America do not know that the the original charges, did include those listed. This ruling is simply on the moronic claim that the US, the US Armed Forces and most especially evil President Bush must bow, scrape and honor the vaulted and sainted UN. . .

As this piece of lying, cowardly slime, had finished college (and no this is not to pay back a ROTC scholarship - as they would have discovered his ‘color’ then) and his father is a rabid bds sufferer - I do really feel that this was intentional. Which makes his application, oath and original service - fraudulent and a purposeful and willfull intent to decieve and undermind Military authority - i.e. sedition.

Go for it UCMJ - fry his ass - maybe if these moronic, lying, cowardly loser who intentionally set out to make a mockery of Army service, OIF, President Bush and the Constitution was fried, shot or hanged, it would make those of the moonbat left who do have a functioning brain cell to think about what they are doing.

But given how rabid, insane, and pc blindness - I doubt it.

    God Help America.

  16. Too bad they can’t this prick into the bayonet practice dummy for the real patriots going thru army boot camp. That way it’d take a while for his scumbag, traitorous, commie ass to die and at the hands of the people he betrayed.

It makes it all the worse that he is a candy-ass officer and his career is a cake walk next to the enlisted guys who do most of the sweating, bleeding, and dying.

He deserves to die screaming a vomiting blood as blades rip him open over and over again.
