  4. You know what’s ironic, my hubby reminded me that we came to IBM was when Apple offered a way to run IBM programs - the rest they say is history. Nothing like shooting yourself in the foot again and again and again.

    big surprise

  5. My only experience with MACS was not a good one.  While some of you may argue it was ‘user error’ I am going to continue to pigheadedly (sorry, Oink!) blame it on the machine.

I was doing some contracting work with a friend of mine that was designing a website.  He was gone for the afternoon and I was using his machine (Mac) rather than the PC I was used to.  I spent the better part of an hour trying to figure out how to get the censored CD drive to open.  I am embarrassed to say that I finally had to call.  It never even DAWNED on me to use the keyboard.

  6. What’s next - dogs and cats living together? Folks rising from their graves? Mohammadeans stop trying to kill Jews? The french grow spines and balls? (I suppose things would have to procede in that order...)

  7. My all time, favorite image, is that of Bill Gates head projected on a giant screen behind Steve Jobs. Jobs was telling Mac users they were going accept an investment (read millions of dollars) from Microsoft to put Internet Explorer in MAC/OS, and keep Apple afloat.

    cool smile
