The Heat Is On

 

1. I heard somewhere (Rush, Sean ?!?) that this pardon media hype is left driven to rile up the masses against a pardon while implying that evilbushitlerburtonco will use their evil regime power(ranger ring) to do it just because we all know that Libby was the fall guy so that Rove and Cheney don’t go down. Which implies (among the thinking) that either Fitzgerald is more stupid and powerless and incompetent than most conservatives/republicans know he is (didn’t get the real ‘criminals’ in this case) or that this is all even more made up leftist lunatic fringe rantings.

   I vote for Jan 20, 2009 - stick it to ‘em. Certainly someone within the uber rich evilbushitlerburtonco can give a little $$$ as payment to both Libby and the Border Agents for sitting in jail for a few. That is, if any of them are still alive by 2009.

   But we all know that no one on the left gives a damn, as they are evil conservatives and more than deserve any and all things that happen to them and it is just a shame that all conservatives can’t be locked up so that America can flourish once again as the land of the free(gays) and the home of the brave(less).

2. I agree, this will be pardon made either at Christmas time 2008 or a 11:55 am pardon on the 20th of January, 2009. The uproar will be minimal, since everybody will expect Bush to conduct some major pardons at that time.

3. ISTR that Bush 41 got a lot of pressure to pardon Oliver North after he was convicted, and he resisted it...then North’s convictions were overturned because the prosecution used testimony North gave under Congressional Immunity.
   I think something similar will happen with Libby’s case. At the very least, Bush 43 will wait to see how the appeals turn out before making a decision.

4. Fitzgerald should be brought up on charges. The firststep in ANY investigation is to determine if a CRIME has ACTUALLY been committed. Show me the crime. Plame was not COVERT and had not been in over five years. Fitz wasted tax payer dollars chasing windmills. He is another Don Quiote.
