  1. My thought on this is simple:  Don’t want the free advertising from enthusiastic stores and people in them?  Fine.

Watch these establishments not just ignore the games, but actively avoid them and anything to do with them.  Televisions and radios will be tuned to other channels.  Copies of newspapers will be missing their sports sections, and possibly their front pages.  NOTHING will be put up that could be considered even slightly in support of the games.

The IOC started pulling antics like this in Olympics past, and sowed the seeds of contempt for their games in the hearts of many (myself included, obviously.) I hope they enjoy their harvest.

Oh, and specific to the offense to the public of 43 wardens at a cost of £1million a year… Jesus H. Tapdancing Christ.  Start putting that info up in your shop windows under a great big banner of:  “We’re all being fleeced.” See how they like that.

  2. I think some people should get a clue and take a pill. And the IOC should take a flying fuck at the moon.

Who came up with this dipshit “we own it, let’s make a profit from it” idea, effin Romney???

Don’t our stupid One World Masters have any sense? The more the proles support the Games, the closer they are to One Worldism.  Crivens, the athletes shouldn’t even run under national colors. These people are simply the best at sport X, so here they are going head to head.

The Olympics is the World Games. If it doesn’t belong to the world, than who? No copyrights, no trademarks, no effin nothing on any of it. Sure, have all your rules and doctors to prevent drug enabled cheating, blah blah ... but the rest? Making money from it? Not one damn dime beyond ticket sales. Let’s do it all for the people in true Marxist fashion (and a tax write off back at corporate). Even the TV coverage should be free, the work given out by the IOC/UN on a NATIONAL basis. If the USA gets it this time, ABC/CBS/NBC/FOX/ESPN people all work TOGETHER and share the broadcasting, as long as they can cover events in English and French, the diplomacy languages ... and all the TV coverage ALSO goes on the free worldwide UN Cable Channel. What, they don’t have one? Get busy.
