1. Re: the Teacher:
   It says that she was isolated from the rest of the prison population and was seeing mental health specialists.
   Isn’t it always that way- if a woman teacher gets caught in a compromising position with a student it’s not her fault because she’s “mentally ill”.
   Double standards in the 21st century-who would have thunk it.

8. Fess Parker played both, OCM. The pic is from Dan’l Boone, the 60’s TV series.

   He starred in the 1954 “Davey Crockett” TV series that Disney created and he also played “Daniel Boone” in the 1964 TV series. I had my own coonskin cap in the mid-50’s and watched Davey Crockett every week.

9. Actually Skipper, Dan’l’s “real” grave is just right outside my window, right up the hill from me.  Probably hit it with a rock if I had a major league arm, which I don’t.

   Old Cat....yes Sir, tis Fess.  Fess was at the State Fair once when I was a kid.  Cool times indeed!

10. Good find, FOC. Do you suppose that the UN will want to take over the GPS satellites next? Fuck ‘em. Let ‘em put up their own. Let ‘em build their own internet too. That’ll keep them busy for decades and they’ll end up with two soup cans and a string that won’t work, but the crooks will make millions billions on it.
