1. So much for sand-lot Nuremberg trials.  This farce is doubly execreble because of its utter and arrant needlessness.

   “We haven’t yet decided whether he committed suicide or was shot while trying to escape.”

   Far better if someone could have said that on the morning after this rat was dug out of his hole.  Where is Captain Renault when we need him?

5. I agree that the first mistake was the 4th ID didn’t blow him away like the 101st did his evil spawn. But now we are stuck and must deal with the best possible way, so that the Muslims won’t think that we were unfair to good ole Uncle Saddam. Oh wait, they will anyway - so start

6. It’s just speculation, but I think this is all part of Ramsey Clarke’s strategy. They won a round when the first judge resigned now they’re working to discredit the whole process. Damn, to think that a grenade down that septic tank he was hiding in could have saved all this crap.
