  1. Ten Thousand Atta_Boys to those guys for proper target practice, and hitting the mark when it counted.

  2. Notice, goblin encounter #2 was in CA.

  3. Little ol’ lady here in Seattle was attacked in her home, but neighbores called the cops and she was rescued. She testified against the scumbag who swore he’d “get her” when he got out. Sure enough, when he got out, that very night, he broke into her home and jumped her in bed. She pulled out a leg iron from under her pillow and popped him one in the ribs and tossed him onto the floor and called the cops. When the cops got there, they asked her if she was ok. “I’m ok, just wish you’d clean up this trash for me.” LOL

  4. Never bring a baseball bat to a gunfight.

Gun control, Rat Patrol style:  Requires a firm and steady grip, an even, smooth trigger pull, and good tight grouping. One shot, one kill, way to go!

  5. One excellent site that reports stories like that on a daily basis, and includes some articles from the other side (so you can take action) is Keep and Bear Arms.
It is part of my daily reading.
One more thought (Actually two): You never need a firearm until you need it badly. Very badly. So it is better to have one and not need it, than to need it and not having one.

  6. Like a seat belt, or car insurance, or homeowner’s insurance- better to hane and not need than need and not have.

  7. Good on Jason Goettsch.

The other guy just flat out murdered somebody, though. His life wasn’t in any danger, the perp had his hand through a window. There’s also nothing in the article that indicates the intruder was armed. Shoot over the guy’s soldier and he’s in jail instead of dead. That guy may be alright with the law, but he’s not alright with God.

Please justify that this man did the wrong thing? Please justify that his life was in no danger? Is the property owner responsible for playing twenty questions with the crook, while the crook is breaking in, to determine whether or not the crook intends harm to your person or family prior to shooting? WTF Over? Are you fucking kidding me?
The house is occupied! The crook is presumably knowingly breaking into a occupied residence. It is not the occupants job to determine the criminals intent. A criminal breaking into a occupied structure should automatically be pre-judged as someone with an intent to do harm to the occupant, otherwise, like many a good and un-caught professional crook, you make damn sure that the structure is un-occupied when you do your B&E. It is just that fucking simple! People stupid and crazy enough to break into occupied structures are also stupid and crazy enough to do harm to the occupants! It Is Just That Fucking Simple!

WHY, WHY, WHY, WHY, WHY, does this have to be explained again and again and again and again and again!!??

P.S. - B&E should be a capital offense period. Someone steals those things that you bought from the sweat and blood from your work and effort? My fucking ass! Kill them all!
Especially tool thieves! I make my living with my tools you SOB’s. Steal my tools and you steal my ability to make a living! Kill them all! Bastard Bleeding Hearts.

    AMEN LC Geno!

My pap is a contractor who owns his own business, and has dealt with the same issue. Someone stole his tools out of his locked truckbox in the middle of the night. His truck was parked in his driveway for crying out loud! Over 10K in tools were taken.

Worst part? Cops could give a shit about it too. They didn’t even want to file a report about it. “Happens all the time” they said.

    Bastards.

Now? My dad had me help him rig a light and webcam to a motion sensor. Come within 10 yards of his truck, the light turns on, and the webcam kicks on. GOTCHA!

    ...and I repeat: BASTARDS.

  10. Actually, let me add to that: The ABSOLUTE worst part was that his insurance wouldn’t cover the loss. His business insurance wouldn’t cover it, because the tools were stored in the vehicle, and his auto insurance wouldn’t cover the loss because it was business related items that were stolen.

The final twist of the knife??? Both insurance coverages were through the same agent and insurance company!!!!!!!!!!

    DAMN it just kills me.
