  1. You know he wants to break Thurmond’s record.  With a bib and some props to hold him up - he just may!

  2. Doesn’t the federal gov have mandatory retirement age limits? Oh, I guess that’s another law that doesn’t apply to these guys.

Nope. Sorry. Minimum age limit must be met to be elected (35 for President, dunno for these guys), maximum age limit should be made. How about 80? Good grief, that’s enough isn’t it? Go home already.

Term limits would be a good thing. 15-20 years is more than enough. Hey Newt, we’re still waiting on that one!

  3. But...term limits is unconstitutional!  Isn’t that what they say?  So fix it by adding an amendment to the constitution.  They did it for the president some years ago.

  4. Maybe he’ll just go ahead and die. Then, perhaps, the Gov of WV can appoint an R to balance the congress back. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Sure.

  5. He has been dead - can’t you see Ted Kennedy’s arm up his ass working his head up and down?

  6. Byrd is the poster child for a lot of things, most of them rotten. He is an old style pork barrel pol whose ability to get money for WV gets him re-elected and will do so for ten years after he dies. Talk about bridges to nowhere, this guy has upgraded WV’s road system to the point that every hick can put his beater of a truck on the road and haul his moonshine, wife/sister and dozen inbred kids to the polling place every election.

    White niggers indeed.  mad

  7. As long as he maintains his dignity by not going incontinental and besmirch and conskite his white KKK robes…

Just like with Fidel Castroach and that Iranian Assatollah, with Bobby Big Byrd, the brain is already dead, we’re just waiting for the body to assume room temperature…

Fish rot from the head back…

  8. 8 years is enough.  We need new blood.  Old blood becomes stagnant.
Old politicians become out of touch.
America needs term limits and more history taught in our schools.

  9. Heard the other day as they were 'extolling' this new Congress that one of these morons has been there for 42 years! There is no company (unless you own it) that would let anyone sit in a seat for 42 years. Come on - let's start a grassroots movement for term limits and flat taxes - those two would rein in the Congress critters faster than anything else. You want nice roads in your state - get the damn state to do it. I'm tired of my taxes going up so that Murtha, Pelosi and the dnc liars can profit and some stupid museaum in upstate new york honoring gay art evolution can exist. You want it - raise the money, throw a bake sale, hold a raffle. Stop making America pay for your crap. Everything and anything coming out of DC should releate only to national security, national defense and national safety. The rest is just another excuse to raise taxes, set up a new bureauacracy and drain more money from the working class.

  11. If the folks in our governments (local, state, and federal) were forced to actually follow the Constitution (state or federal) you would find a whole lot of government programs going away.

About time somebody pointed out the truism of law. Now, how do we enforce it? Remember your oath of enlistment? REMEMBER YOUR OATH OF ENLISTMENT!
