Actually, Skipper, the deadline is midnight of the 17th this year!
Time for a flat tax. Minimize the IRS (isn’t it one of the biggest, unwieldy bureaucracy in the US federal government?) and their paperwork and the problms connected with their stupid tax ‘codes’. Simple, sane and everyone (wealthy and less wealthy) pays the same percentage ( I vote for 10 to 15%, even though I feel it should be lower).

time for some real common sense and sanity in America.
And for those proletarians in the Peoples’ Demokratik Republik of Massholechusetts, Tax Day is April 18th, as April 17 is Patriot’s Day in the PDRM. Ironic, isn’t it FWIW, the regional IRS office is located in Andover Mass, and it’s closed for a local “holiday” on April 17th. .
I already e-filed my Federal tax return, and mailed in my state (IL).
I would suggest e-filing, whether it be by software (H&R Block Tax Cut can be bought at Wal-Mart), or on a Website (just Google “income tax filing").
