Isn’t this the newly repealed tax we have been paying in order to fund the Spanish-American war?
I could be CS. I hadn’t heard it was repealed, but good if it was. I’m expecting another shake up in the telecom tax arena now that more and more people are switching to cable for their land line phones. Add in that many other people are now using internet driven phones like Skipe, and I’d guess that the telephone revenue stream is drying up.
Yes, this is the Spanish-American War tax. It was repealed and not only that but it is retroactive, thus this tax break this year. It will only be available this year so don’t forget to take it.

You may be right Drew, McCain has some regulations he wants implemented concerning the internets and I’ll bet a brand new penny that we will pay the cost in money and freedom.
