  1. VW should sell their little rabbit rub-on tattoo as modeled by miss Bridget there. It’s cute, and so far it doesn’t have that worn out Playboy stigma.

Gosh, what a horrible ad campaign ... “VW Rabbit, because I like sex!” THAT will never work. Mwaahahahaahahahaa!! Funny how nobody else has ever tried linking sex to their product marketing.

And just to put one in for my side, why is it that it’s the male rabbit that has the promiscuous image? They didn’t get there by themselves. Besides, rabbits generally pair off I think. But that’s reality, which has nothing to do with advertising or stereotyping.

  2. My only comment is that having caught The Girls Next Door a couple of times - and the show on this ad deal - those are three of the dumbest women I have ever heard. They are in the Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton class.

I just hope that they all keep those tiny butts and pretty faces - because then none of them will reproduce and the next generation has a hope. Oh wait Tom Cruise and Kate Hudson have reproduced, it’s all downhill from here.

  3. I’m surprised that VW is attaching itself to a declining brand name like Playboy.

I suppose some wingtipped wonder marketing wonk in Stuttgart dreamed this one up after a night of heavy boozing at the rathskeller mit der boyz.  And then those flatlander pudknockers in Chi said, “Dats a groovy ider der hey”.  These idiots deserve each other.

  4. You see, my mind instantly drifted back to 1982 and what I thought was a hilarious movie, “The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas”. I could see Dom DeLuise as Texas television’s “watchdog of sin” singing the Watchdog Report song where the chorus included the line, “Stop this fornication!”.

That musical number was funny as hell, yet very, very catchy!  I miss Dom DeLuise.  Though not a classic for the ages, “Whorehouse” is one of those movies you’ve gotta’ see at least once in your lifetime.
