  2. Ok I watched, so now how can we overturn the 16th Amendment (yeah, I KNOW I’m dreaming and hallucinating) and get it right. I know after all these decades Big Government and the Entitlement Society can’t live without it’s money. I’d go for a flat tax - just something to make it all more realistic and FAIR - - yeah, I know life’s not fair.

  5. Open line Friday on Thursday huh!?!

Sorry OCM, I don’t think that ‘billions going up in sand’ because you are forgetting one thing - those men and women would be being paid even if they were just at home base doing training. In addition to putting that training to work (finally) they are helping to free and empower millions of Iraqi and Afghanistanis and so on and so on and so on. Which just might make the world a safer place - and even if it doesn’t it is still noble to have freed them.

Tell me, other than sucking up money and air - what are the MAJORITY of welfare/adfc/medicaid people doing for society other than spurning and encouraging SS/SSI/Medicare and other more entitlement excuses for tax increases????

Yes, my son gets SSI and I damn well wish he didn’t because he’s content to sit on his ass (in our house) and get his ‘check.’ If he wasn’t getting SSI, he might be in school or seeking a job. Now having said that, I am also aware (that in his current state of ‘handicappness’) he is not able to ever get a job that will pay the money and benefits he will need - so basically, he’s screwed and SSI is all that will keep us going when his health fails or all our medical ‘nets’ are pulled from us. So yes, we accept it, and it is going into an account to hopefully (although no where near fast enough) build up as, at least, a cushion when that disaster hits us.

I have sympathy (damn truckload considering what we went through) for people are broadsided with some situation that strikes ‘em down - I know it and I know that we (my family) would be eating cat food in cardboard boxes, if my son’s medical bills had not been covered by very generous people and our good medical coverage. I’m talking about people like my neighbor when I lived in KY. She never married one of the 6 fathers of her spawn - she wasn’t stupid or un-educatable (actually somewhat of a nice person), just in my mind - found an easier way to slide through life on someone else’s dime. Problem was that her son became a thief (at least at 10 he was having a huge head start) and her 16 yo daughter started another welfare generation. Those are the ones sucking up our money and our air - for nothing.

So like the anti-death penalty people - we should hand over our hard earned money to give to people like that, just because the majority are deserving??? [reference we should suspend the death penalty just because an ‘innocent’ might be executed]. Fix the system, punish the guilty and then, maybe then I will feel better about handing out my money - which by the way - why should someone healthy get money for nothing when I was stuck at home unable to work, caring for a recovering child - and couldn’t even get funds for respite care?????

You see, until the system becomes more FAIR - I don’t care.

  10. WardMama: Terrific! But, all in all, I prefer the old song (REPEAT warning!):

tuneOne evening in October, when I was one-third sober,
    An’ taking home a ‘load’ with manly pride;
My poor feet began to stutter, so I lay down in the gutter,
    And a pig came up an’ lay down by my side;
Then we sang ‘It’s all fair weather when good fellows get together,’
Till a lady passing by was heard to say:
‘You can tell a man who “boozes” by the company he chooses’
And the pig got up and slowly walked away.
    tune

  16. THE VIDEO --I started off suspicious: “Handful of Powerful Bankers”—we’re they JEWISH Bankers? big surprise

We showed these folks the door at the Libertarian Party.

Of course the Income Tax is a monster from hell.  So is the Drug War.  So?  As long as you can make videos like this, and can vote, and can work within political parties to try to get reasonable people nominated—TOUGH SHIT!

Mumbling about secret cabals and the fine points of the 16th Amendment? You’re off into the Fever Swamps with the Loonie Tunes Gang.

  17. Oink, I was going to give you that song (slightly different start) the other day and (as per my alzheimers) forgot.

Not having been a pig, but having had my fair share (and about a dozen other peoples fair share) of drinking days - I resemble that song muchly.

  18. mama: Yep, I know the other verstion also. And used it here—hence the ‘repeat’ warning.

I know I’m Witty AND Bright and Gay.But how about my serious stuff?

Maybe if we’re real nice, OCM will post yet another head-up-ass photo. Wouldn’t that be nifty!?

    Thanks, wardmama

  20. Hey folks, I need help to debunk a bit of moonbat barking and nitwitery.

    Evening John,

I am looking for current photos of Fallujah. Here in Seattle, in the area of town in which I live, Wallingford, we have a little group called the “Wallingford Neighbors for Peace and Justice,” who put on a regular “Friday Night At The Meaningful Movies.” As you might expect, the group’s name might really be the “Wallingford Neighbors Against Anything American Especially if it Involves Chimpy McBushitlerburton.” They run films like the horrors of ANWAR drilling, the evils of Korporate Amerika, the murder of Rachel “The Pancake” Corey, blah blah blah.
Anyhow, they have been showing films and, this week, a photo exhibit, on the eeevvviill Amerikan total destruction of the peaceful city of Fallujah.
Now, I have heard that Fallujah under the rebels was a mini-talliban state complete with public lynchings, real torture (not the Gitmo or AG stuff), sharia law, etc, and that Fallujah now is a bustling city full of people living pretty good lives.
Can you or your readers help me get evidence (I hear the shudders from the “peace” folks already) about the true state of Fallujah?

    Thanks,

  21. Subject: Voted best joke of the year in Australia

Charlie walks into his bedroom with a sheep under his arm and says:
“Darling, this is the pig I have sex with when you have a headache.”

His girlfriend is lying in bed and replies: “I think you’ll find
    that’s a sheep, you idiot.”

The man says: “I think you’ll find, I wasn’t talking to you.”

pig sheep pig sheep pig sheep pig sheep pig sheep pig sheep
