Seeing Problems Where None Exist?

  1. If my advertisement budget was 50 million,
and I blew 4 million on an ad that might
garner bad press, I’d replace it. So then
I’m only out the cost of production. And
the negative press leading to this scenario
has ALREADY been worth the original outlay.
The director will gain 10 times what he loses
    in press as well.

  2. I’m split on the issue.  On one hand, ford shouldn’t wet their pants cuz someone may be offended; on the other hand, hell, preists have gotten enough shit lately, so I guess its good for them the Ad got withdrawn. So, like, whatever. The whole thing is a nonissue, maybe we’re seeing problems where none exist or something. smirk

  3. When correctly viewed,
    Everything is lewd.
I could tell you things about Peter Pan
And the Wizard of Oz - there’s a dirty old man!  Smut—by Tom Lehrer

Maybe 10 years ago, GM put out a promotional video (not on TV) in which a customer praised GM’s cars over “those faggy little imports”.  shock  And the wind blew, and the shit flew.

I noted the intelligence and good judgement exercised by that corporation, dickhead  and would have dumped their stock—if I’d owned any.
