What a shame President Lincoln was killed. I understand he had a plan to deport the freed nigras.

First peiper, Pres. Lincoln did have a plan and executed that plan. Liberia is the result. Not one of the most successful plans in history. But in all fairness to Lincoln, he didn’t get to see the plan to fruition: a has-been actor shot him. A Democrat took over, with a hostile Republican legislature who were out for blood. Liberia, yet another failed nation started with good intentions.
BTW, Srewy Louis, I can’t help thinking that statements like

will not win friends or influence people. Especially, based on the testimony I’ve read, I’d’ve shot the dumb@ss myself. And I’d be stocking up on ammo to oppose idiots like yourself, Calypso Louis.

I have a question - why is it that these black ‘leaders’ (pick one - Farrakhan, Sharpton, Jackson, the (not so)Rev Wright, Holder, Obama) - make these grandiose comments - but never, ever are a participant in a single event ever?
Don’t the black people see that they are being used by these people as (if you will) cannon fodder or to use a much more recent term - human shields as these inciting and incendiary people - just make more and more money?
I don’t get how people can be that blind to reality.
It’s not like this has been a new thing at all - been going on for decades.
And innocent people are harmed or killed.
