  1. Sad news but eventualy like Mr Scott they will perform a miracle abd get her launched. Even The Federation had trouble getting the Entrprise out of drydock the second time around.

  2. Dear Jimmy Doohan heart It would not be a fitting tribute to you if the machinery worked first time.

I thought Leary was spaced out before he died.

  3. "Ahm givin’ ye all she’s got, Capt’n.”

The need a Scot on that project. Yes, I’m biased. We built the world, ya know.

    Oh, and Kipling knew some.

  4. SK: I suspect your quote is something you’ve said more than once in the course of your employment.

My wife had two guys named Hal and Dave working at neighboring desks. You can imagine.

  5. Hal and Dave? It’d be great, if they were both up on the dialogue. For a while, anyway.

LOL I’ve said similar things. As well as: “I’ll have it up in half an hour, if that’s not quick enough I can do it in thirty minutes”. They bought it. LOL Ah, production types.

I’ve always loved working on machinery. Must be genetic. Treat ‘em right and they’ll come through in a pinch. More than I can say for many people, I’m afraid.

  6. Poor Scotty. Even postmortem they won’t give him a decent spaceship that works. Sheesh!

  7. We plan to deposit OCM’s ashes in a kitty-litter box.  StinKerr’s will be sewn into a haggis and tossed into Lock Ness as bait for Nessie. The Skipper’s will go into the Mighty Mississippi—after the EPA approves the Environmental Impact Statement. Some tasty BBQ for mine.
