1. The objections come from the people who are looting it: Spending politicians who view it as a very handy source of money without raising regular taxes. They just raise the SS tax. Who could object to that?

   They’re especially vociferous about any money being diverted from this stream of income such as voluntary private accounts.

3. Young Women Unite

   When your husband dies at 67 years of age, like the Liberal Peter Jennings, do you want to give his lifetime of Social Security taxes to the government, never to be seen again.

   OR

   Would you prefer that all Personal Savings Account (PSA) balances be transferred to his wife so she can have hundreds of thousands of dollars, all tax free?

   70% of young Democrats support Social Security reform (This means they are really Republicans and don’t know it yet)

   Social Security is a ponzi scheme / vote Republican in ‘06 and ‘08
