2. Isn’t SanFran one of those places that require the special “boutique” blend of gasoline? That’ll jack up the price. I know it does in those areas where they require extra oxygenators and such in the blend. I got caught with that shit somewhere on the east coast. I think it was in NJ. Costs more and the mileage decreases. Who could ask for anything more?

3. OCM - $25k a year is roughly what my husband makes and he’s been Navy for 5 yrs (his next advancement exam is mid-Sept. *Crosses fingers in hopes that he is able to advance on this exam, we need the pay upgrade*)

   We usually try to go on base cause it’s a few cents cheaper but since all of Maine uses that crappy MTBE gas, our mileage flat out sucks.

   Wondering if this base closes and we move to FL if it’d be any better…
