1. Opera gets better all the time!

   
   What Peiper didn’t tell us that she’s not JUST a sister act with sibling Sophie, who is just as curvy and good looking, and also a fast rising opera soprano, but part of a whole danged modern Von Trapp family - there’s EIGHT of them, all professional grade voices. They fit right in with the rest of the extended family, as I gather all 60 cousins have the gift.

2. You hate opera - wow I can’t believe it. While I’m not comfortable dressing to the nines and sitting all night - it is really great. I happen to love music - and while some genres have less to offer (and skate along a fine line of NOT being music) - I will take a taste of it all - but then I grew up on Big Band, Folk and of course summer stock.

3. You hate opera - wow I can’t believe it.

   Yeah. Can’t stand it. Pretty much grew up with it. There is the odd exception tho. But I think it’s a very unnatural way to vocalize. I always think the singers have a terrible tummy ache they can do nothing about, and so they sing their pain.
