Safest Winter Olympic Sport

 

1. The Paralympics begin in Sochi on March 7th (well that is just the opening ceremonies) - actually the 8th through the 16th. Alpine Skiing, Biathlon, Cross-Country Skiing, Ice Sledge Hockey, and Wheelchair Curling. NBC and NBCSN are suppose to cover the events. PBS had a special - Ice Warriors - the US Sled Team - as they are the Gold Medal defending winners from Vancouver Olympics.

   Can’t wait - and other than Hockey, Equestrian and Curling - I really am not a fan (although sometimes I watch the skating and gymnastics) of the ‘normal’ Olympics.
