Ah yes, such exists here already - The Peoples Republic of Kalifornia has banned ‘bad’ food from bake sales for all school fundraising. So the kids either hold it just across the street (to make money) or have a lousy bakesale and give up something since they didn’t make the money. I bet those candy bar (which come to think of it, I haven’t seen in a while) sales are out too. . .Yepper, The Nanny State (tm) coming to a neighborhood near you.
How people can allow this drivel is beyond me - Me and mine are going to have to put our lives on the line - to bring sanity, rational thought and common sense back into everyday life due to the whinners, nutcases and power hungry evildoers.
Around these parts we call them the roach coach. I used to live on something called the “pizzaburger”, swimming in grease you could feel the arteries harden with every bite. God they were good.
What’s also scary are the conservatives here who I think simply go along with that crap.
Not the individual man/women in the street, who don’t count anyway, but the Tory (cons) party itself. I doubt they’d be any better though I could be out of line on that. Just seems that way.Exists here in the US - It’s called “local restaurant owners nag the cities with everything complain they can to shut down food cart owners.”
You should have heard the screams from the local brick-and-mortar restaurants down here in Florida when the hot dog cart owners hired pretty girls in bikinis to staff their carts…

Oh and I see they are now planning to pay fat people to walk with their kids to school in England. There is seemingly nothing that the socialists can’t fix by throwing our money at it.
I beg to differ LyndonB. They can fix it so that money itself is avaliable in wheelbarrel quantities just to buy a loaf of bread.
I don’t understand why the British allow these myriad “councils” (they seem to be under every bush) to dictate to them constantly. Every time we see a mickey mouse post about something there it involves “councils”.
Why don’t y’all just drag ‘em out in the street & beat them black and blue?
Give ‘em a little “councilling”....Ah yes, a breakfast sandwich with 2 kinds of cheese, 4 sausage patties, 8 slices of bacon, 3 poached eggs (like a McMuffin) and salad dressing (ranch for me) on a foot long fresh-baked sesame seed roll. I used to get one every time I delivered to the docks in Newark, Just 5.99 with a side of delicious hash browns (real big Tater Tots). I used to get all kinds of food from these meccas of high cholesterol goodness.
I just have one question.. Who the hell is going to pay for these unsold healthy foods?
If the roach coach has low-cal foods available, but they don’t sell, will that not increase the prices for the people who don’t eat them (read: EVERYBODY)???Just being curious
BillRoach coach - now there is a phrase I’ve not heard in a while. Man the ones in Germany (schnell imbus (ok, my german spelling sucks - it’s been 20 years)) - are the bomb. I miss those little brats & wursts and the mustard that would clean you from the tip of your burning tongue to the well - you get it - you were cleaned out for a good while. But as bad as it was on the guts - those were so good. In Belgium in the summer you could buy the biggest strawberries and of course that local taste treat french fries with mayo.
When they come after the Girl Scout cookies - you will know that the Nanny State (i.e. liberals) have destroyed America.
