RINO is still clueless

  1. There ya go, not a bad post at all. Maybe add a little inventive name calling just to spice it up a bit?

I think I could get used to NOT YOURS. It’s nuanced enough, like a 20lb sledgehammer. Not as catchy as Stuck On Stupid, and its true meaning only is clear to people who have actually read the Constitution and understand what it says should and shouldn’t be. It will be lost on the utopian dreamers who can only read in what they think should be in there today. Farm subsidies? NOT YOURS. Dept of Education? NOT YOURS. Endless unchecked financial support of every little backwater pisshole on the planet? NOT YOURS. And so on ... Can we apply it to the Supremes too? Kelo v New London? NOT YOURS!!

Nope, these RINOS don’t get it. The regular GOPers (GOPhers?) who got voted out last time around still don’t get it. El Presidente jellyfish doesn’t get it either. After all, what conservatives want is just so confusing: smaller government, lower taxes, more freedom, less nanny-state; secure the borders, less corruption. Only get into wars you intend to win, then do so absolutely. Know right from wrong and act appropriately. It really is more than they seem to be able to get their pointy little heads around. Maybe this comes from electing lawyers, who have no reverence for the law and see it merely as a tool?

  2. Yes, bickering in the government is a good thing. We have to keep close watch on the Democrats, and an even closer watch on Republicans, it seems. Any politician who complains about ‘talk radio’ or ‘internet blogs’ should not be allowed to keep their seat. They obviously want things done ‘their way’, which is usually gonna cost us money.

The old adage “Republicans, Democrats, Same Shit, Different Piles” is proving itself too true, especially in light of the recent Immigration Bill from the ‘old hands’ in our government...the warhorses who should be put out, soon.  Kennedy, McCain, and so on…

    Good post, Christopher.

  3. This is why I am an avid supporter of TERM LIMITS for congresscritters.

Two for Senators (no more than 12 years consecutive).... Five for Representatives (no more than 10 consecutive).

If it’s good for the goose (the prez) it’s good for the gander (the congress)

  4. Good Post - and I agree - love the NOT YOURS. Most important NOT YOURS to me right now is the repeated attempt to ‘end the war’ by Congressional mandate. Sorry it is not in the Constitution.

I voted for DeWine simply because I believed Brown would be a typical Dem. While I get the most stupid emails from him re: the War & the Military - which I correct when I have time - he actually voted better and straighter than Voinovich on immigration. Go figure.

Strickland is a loser who is going to really hurt the state if the Repubs in the State House can’t keep him controlled. I feel that between the Taft fiasco and the fact that Blackwell’s wife is soiling the Public schools here in CIncy at 100Gs+ a year - Blackwell might have made it.

I just find it astounding that Cleveland is dragging down OH so badly. Well, lets see the next election - bet most Ohioans won’t be that stupid again.

Locally, the No Jail Tax people got their petitions (funny that in local reporting, the number of signatures keeps rising) but now they have to ‘verified’ and then Pepper said that they are going to file an appeal. NOT YOURS - the people voted down the Jail Tax in November - the commissioners cooked up a scheme to not only force it down our throats but increase it - the requisite number (again) said NOT YOURS and still these politicos don’t care.

Term Limits - It is the only way to stop this maddness.

Another one of the Haditha Marines has been recommended for No Court Martial - do we hear any appology from John ‘killedincoldblood’ Murtha? No, never coming. However, SGT Wurterich filed a lawsuit against him. And I think I read that thisMarine, CPL Sharratt is going to file a suit against Murtha too.

Maybe this is going to be the way to bring ‘em down - put them in jail or bankrupt them - then maybe they will get the point that We The People are America. And we speak for America. And are the Power that keeps America great.

  5. Golly, wish I could claim credit for ‘Not Yours’, but it’s not mine. Don’t know who first originated it, but it’s a cliche on Fark.com. Yes, this old foggie hangs out at Fark.com and just Farks around. (what an impudent piece of junk! My computer is flagging ‘foggie’ as being misspelled.)

Didn’t know about Blackwell’s wife. But that’s not what sunk him. It was Taft that did him in. And the 2004 election, which he oversaw and called it for Bush. The Dems will never forgive Blackwell for that.

I’m glad y’all liked the post. Having reread it while sober, it IS a good post. Took me a couple of days to think about it. I’m no Allan Kelly. I need time to think about these things. I need time to get beyond my ‘inventive name calling’ phase. Sorry Drew. If inventive name calling is your schtick, go to nicedoggie.net and read the Emperor’s posts. Impressive. Especially when you consider that English is NOT Misha I’s native tongue.
